About Hill Crest Farm
Nestled in the rolling countryside of Germansville, Pennsylvania, Hill Crest Farm is a welcoming, privately owned equestrian facility dedicated to quality horsemanship, exceptional horse care, and personalized rider development. Founded in 2003 by owner and barn manager Lisa Cope, Hill Crest Farm has become a trusted destination for riders seeking a supportive and professional environment to learn, grow, and enjoy their passion for horses.
Our beautifully maintained facility is designed with the comfort and well-being of both horses and riders in mind. Amenities include fourteen spacious 10' x 12' stalls with rubber mats, a wash stall with hot and cold water, a 60' x 100' indoor arena featuring premium GGT footing, an 80' x 100' outdoor arena, a tack room with individual lockers, a heated viewing room, and spacious paddocks complete with run-in sheds and automatic waterers.
At Hill Crest Farm, we specialize in private and semi-private dressage instruction for adults and young adults. Our carefully selected lesson horses are suitable for riders ranging from complete beginners through Third Level dressage, providing opportunities for students to progress confidently at their own pace. With more than 50 years of combined teaching and training experience, our instructors are committed to helping every rider develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a true partnership with their horse.

Conveniently located just off Route 309 North, behind the Northwestern Lehigh School District, Hill Crest Farm is easily accessible from Routes 309, 100, and 143. We are just minutes from Allentown, Whitehall, Northampton, Coplay, and Tamaqua, and only a short drive from Bethlehem and Quakertown.

What is dressage?
Often referred to as "horse ballet," dressage is the art of developing a harmonious partnership between horse and rider. Through a systematic and progressive training program, horses learn to become more balanced, supple, responsive, and athletic, while riders develop better balance, coordination, and communication skills.
At its core, dressage is about creating a willing and confident horse that responds to subtle aids from the rider. As horse and rider progress together, they learn movements and exercises that improve strength, flexibility, and overall performance. The result is a partnership built on trust, respect, and understanding.
Dressage benefits riders of all experience levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals of riding to advanced competitors refining their skills.
