Camp

The Goal of summer camp is to educate children on the art of riding while emphasizing the importance of safety of being around horses. All levels of students are welcome and will be divided by skill level for certain activities if necessary.

Summer Full-Day Camp

Rate: $400 per week for full-day.

​

Ages: Great for riders of all ability levels, ages 6-16.

​

Hours: 9am to 3pm. Students will receive instruction and ride each day and there is a camper show on Friday!

​

Week of August 14-18

​

Camp Activities:​

  • Daily riding lessons

  • Horse related crafts & projects

  • Horse husbandry

  • Theory lessons

​

Students will learn:

  • Halter, lead, and tie a horse

  • Grooming, saddling and bridling 

  • Horse safety

  • Parts to the horse, bridle, and saddle

  • Horse behavior 

  • Equine nutritional needs

  • Breeds and markings

Two-Day, Advanced Immersion Camp

Rate: $225 for two days.

​

Hours: 9am to 3pm.

​

Students go in-depth, beyond a weekly riding lesson, to bring awareness and mastery on and off the horse:

​

  • Ride or handle/lunge daily with video review

  • Course design

  • Equine massage techniques to improve performance

  • Camper show with test riding

  • Stable  Management- basics and beyond

  • On the Levels- USDF training

  • Learn show prep: braiding, wrapping, clipping, tack care, mane pulling, trailer loading
